Mondeuse is a traditional grape from Savoie, the birthplace of apéro.’s big boss Guillaume, that almost got forgotten by the advent of Pinot Noir some 60 years ago. Fortunately for us, we still have access to exquisite Mondeuse thanks to highly motivated winemakers like Jérémy Dupraz. Growing on high altitude slopes where cold strong winds blow his Mondeuse is one of a kind. While being mineral and fresh, it also displays beautiful notes of black and white pepper, cassis jam and a hint of smokiness. That makes it an excellent wine to pair with beef stew, grilled duck and strong tasting fish like Mackerel or Japanese Katsuo Tuna.
