Domaine d'Ardhuy

The Ardhuy estate was founded in 1947 by Gabriel and his wife Eliane d'Ardhuy in Corgoloin, at the border between Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. Today, two of their seven daughters are perpetuating the family tradition with Mireille at d'Ardhuy estate in Burgundy and Marie-Pierre, at La Cabotte estate in the Rhone Valley. The vineyard of the d'Ardhuy estate spreads over 42 hectares between Gevrey-Chambertin and Puligny-Montrachet covering a wide range of appellations: 14 'Village' appellations, 15 Premiers Crus and 6 Grands Crus. Flagship of the estate, which it has the monopoly, the Clos des Langres is a unique vineyard planted in the 10th century by the monks of Cluny. After conducting tests on previous vintages, Carel Voorhuis, estate manager has opted for biodynamic farming methods and got the Demeter certification in 2012.
