Domaine des Ronces

Family-owned estate since 1950, Domaine Ronce is located in the heart of the Jura region. Kevin Mazier, the current winemaker, represents the third generation of the family and initiated organic and biodynamic farming in the 2010’s. Kevin mastering of both Jura historical winemaking styles, called ouillé (‘topped of’) and sous voile (‘under veil’), is indisputable and very much apparent through the distinctively nutty and earthy notes of his white wines. The reds are very subtle and elegant, with a lot of freshness in part thanks to the unique terroir where they’re growing from. All in all, Kevin is experimenting with both modern agriculture and traditional winemaking to fully understand what his grapes can yield and provide us with the quintessence of Jura wines.
