The Mas des Quernes estate is working very hard to protecting their environment. Of course by not using any chemical, but also by designing animal-friendly facilities in the vineyard. Birds, bees, bats and even badgers, "blaireau" in French, can thus walk freely through the estate. Hence the name. Cool right? Oh yes, and the wine is delicious too.
