Loupiot means "little wolf" or affectionately, "little child" in old French. The pale straw color gives off a summery vibe, and the refreshing scent of green apple and apricot is complemented by a mineral undertone. One noteworthy aspect of Loupiot Blanc is that it uses a rare grape variety called "Fié Gris" which is said to be the ancestor of Sauvignon Blanc. This Loupiot Blanc has a smooth texture, elegant acidity, and a rich buttery taste which pairs well with scallop carpaccio or sashimi.
