Part of a stunning three-part Koshu series themed around "The Sisters," this exceptional white wine beautifully re-defines the gentle softness and crystalline transparency of Japan’s native grape. The nose opens with an expressive bouquet of fresh pear, ripe apple, and muscat, flawlessly layered with the breezy zip of Japanese citrus like ponkan and a subtle yeast savoriness. Masterfully fermented in a unique cocoon-shaped concrete tank, it rewards the palate with a beautifully rounded, slightly creamy, and juicy mid-palate. With low alcohol content that flows effortlessly into the body, its clean acid line and delicate trace of pleasant bitterness structure a beautifully balanced, harmonious finish.
